Bio

Founded in 2013 and based in Opelika, Alabama, John Emerald Distilling Company is deeply rooted in family and craftsmanship. As a small-batch distillery, John Emerald focuses on using grains from Southern farms to produce true grain-to-glass spirits. Known for producing Alabama’s first legal whiskey and rum since Prohibition, they’ve helped reinvigorate the craft of distilled spirits in big ways.
