Bio
Located in Corpus Christi, Texas, Vida Caña sources rum from Latin and South America, then rebarrels it in American whiskey barrels.
Being friends with Seth Dettling, the owner of Vida Caña, brings in a lot of his barrels, which are rebarreled in them for some time. And while you might think just a few years in a barrel won’t do much, the chocolate and malt notes that are notorious in Dettling do, in fact, show through in this rum.
